Project summary

“Atlanta Women’s Weekend” is an annual event in the greater Atlanta, GA area where 200+ women from across the USA gather each October for a weekend of Bible study. I started working with AWW in 2017 and am now their volunteer Art Director where I help define the visual for the theme each year, produce all print materials, manage the website, and aid with various other marketing needs.

Website Redesign
I completely redesigned AWW’s website in 2018 with the vision that I wanted the AWW Committee to have the ability to make minor content changes independently. We also changed the website to a scrolling layout as that was a better user experience for their audience. When I redesigned the site, I also moved it from Wordpress to Squaresapce as Squarespace was a better solution for all of these objectives! We have since updated the site to also process their ticket sales so that now they can manage the entire event through this one website.

Art Direction
Each year the AWW Committee selects a theme Bible verse to base their weekend on. Once the verse is selected I handle developing the marketing visuals and any deliverables that are needed - such as: Theme Imagery, Postcard Announcement, Business Cards, Weekend Booklet and Email guidance.
